why kill clog exists

420 kc started as a simple account rule: get 420 kills, stop there, and act like that was always the plan.

Playing that way made me appreciate how much OSRS accounts say through numbers. Kill counts show where someone stayed. Collection Log slots show what happened there. Personal bests show what they took seriously. Pets and missing items usually explain the rest.

The regular HiScores never presented that as one story, so I built Kill Clog.

It began as a better RuneLite lookup: boss KC, Collection Log progress, account context, and player comparison in one native interface.

The direction has grown since launch. Kill Clog now connects the plugin to public player profiles at killclog.com. The 2.0 direction will let players choose to sync the Collection Log and personal-best data that normally stays inside their own client. Jagex HiScores, TempleOSRS, and RuneProfile still contribute their parts. Kill Clog brings them together without pretending they are all the same source.

The player model and follower are the latest extension of the same idea. A profile should look like the account it describes.

The principle is still straightforward: make OSRS accounts easier to understand, keep publication optional, and be honest about what the data can prove.

Kill Clog is built independently by dyl, the player behind 420 kc.

Thanks to everyone who installed it, shared a profile, reported something wrong, or helped make it better.
